Life without work....

It is interesting what you end up getting done when you are not working. Although it has been difficult being without a job it has had some benefits. I have organized all of the closets in my house. I have straightened my garage. I have gotten further along with stripping an old bed frame for Ellie and I have painted and put new shelving in my laundry room. I am still working on a quilt made from Ellie's receiving blankets as well as using some squares of bibs and clothes that she wore and I am going to start on another Picaboo book (her first year one turned out FABULOUS)!

I am hoping that a new job will be right around the corner and I am working closely with my job counselor at the Workforce Center- reworking my resume, looking at courses to take and figuring out the best ways to followup after submitting a resume. Here are some pics since labor day:
We went to visit Grandma and Grandpa the weekend after my lay off.
Here is the laundry room. The shelves are up but the lower half still hadn't been painted and the small shelf hadn't been installed over the dryer.

My mom's sisters and brother were just her visiting and we had a fabulous time with them. Look for pictures soon!
