Finally… working again!

After 2 years of not having a job I finally was offered a position at, what I am finding is a really neat company. North America Membership Group manages hobby/interest clubs, including magazines, promotional items, vendor management, and of course membership. The clubs are diverse and interesting: North American Hunting Club, North American Fishing Club, The Cooking Club, The History Club, American Motorcycle Riders Club to name a few.

I am working in the IS department as an Information Specialist. I am working the 2nd shift: 2-10 M-Th and 10-6:30 on Friday. As you can imagine, it has been a difficult transition for my little girl but it now seems to be settling down. In some ways it has been easier. I don’t have to get her up really early in the morning for daycare and I get more of her waking time.

I am finishing up my AAS degree at Rasmussen and will be done next week… whew! It will be nice not to have to try to get homework done in between work and playing with Ellie!

As for Ellie, she continues to love to play with her cousin, can’t wait to play with all the “kids” at daycare, and loves to pick flowers and play with her princesses and amemals (animals)!

Here is a picture of the break area at work. Outdoors brought in. There is also a open and wooded area to the back (where my office faces) where many have seen deer (bucks and does).

Here are also some pictures of Ellie with Brielle (Tammy’s granddaughter, who is one day younger than Ellie).
