Before Ellie was born I tried my hand at making a quilt. I used the receiving blankets that Sana had and it turned out okay. Well, I have started doing the same thing with Ellie’s receiving blankets but I am now armed with a better knowledge. I am really excited because it is now almost complete. All that is left is to figure out what material I will use for the backing and how thick I will make the batting. Here are some pictures of it… I can’t believe that it is the perfect size for her bed!

Now I need to rethink the color of her room. The color I picked out just doesn’t match the pink in her soon to be completed quilt.
She looks so cute on it!
