What a Christmas. My little bug was so excited about Christmas she could hardly wait! She worked so hard at being good so that Santa would bring her a doll house and what do you know…. HE DID!
The night before Santa came we had supper with Grandma, Grandpa, Sana, Mike and Emily. That night we receive a package from Twig the Fairy who is a beautiful fairy that Ellie got to meet at the Renaissance Festival this year. We received Twig’s first book Twig and the Land of Real, a fairy coin, and a calendar. Ellie was so excited! Then we shared presents with Emily and Ellie got of all things….. A FAIRY! She was all a flutter for the rest of the night!
The next day Santa came and Ellie got to experience all the joys a child could on that day!
Then it was down to St. Ansgar for Christmas with the Schubert family. It is always fun and this day was no exception. The traveling was a bit tough, we had huge amounts of snow and Mom and Dad ended up sliding off the road while getting on to I94 in Austin, Dad now claims that he owns that section of road. But, we all got there and had a wonderful meal and on the actual Christmas day, we had a wonderful time passing presents around before opening them to see what we got!
